Two-seat pressurised cabin of Iwaya Giken's OPEN UNIVERSE PROJECT: a near-spherical plastic cabin about 1.5 m across carrying a pilot and one passenger, lifted by a helium balloon to a planned 18-25 km. On 17 July 2024 the T-10-X cabin reached 20,816 m on a crewed free flight, a Japanese first. Commercial sightseeing flights are now targeted for summer 2027 or later.
